…donates N5 million to theatre arts department
Governorship Candidate of the Accord party in Rivers State, Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs has donated the sum of five million naira to the Theatre Arts Department of the Rivers State University.
Dumo, also donated the sum of N1.5 million to the Theater Arts Crew after a wonderful performance during an interactive session with students of the institution.
The Governorship hopeful who answered questions from the students said youths deserve a new Rivers State.
According to him, the rate of unemployment in the state is alarming, adding that Rivers people deserve better.
Dumo also promised to ensure free education in the state; bursary for students, rule of law, improved education amongst others, if elected Governor of the state.
He also charged the students to get their Permanent Voter Cards to be able to participate in next year’s election.
