Multichoice’s pay tv cables; DSTV and GoTv is suspected to have experienced a glitch after users/subscribers of the platform were able to gain full bouquet access to all channels.
Some persons believe that the platform was hacked by faceless cyber activists ‘Anonymous’, in solidarity with #EndSars protesters.
Some social media users have suspected this to be the case after the group hacked NBC’s twitter handle, the websites of the Nigerian Police and the Nigerian Army last week.
Others, however, suspect that it could be another ploy by the government to rein in protesters.
Multichoice is yet to comment or address this issue as at the time of this publication.
