Panic gripped residents of Akokwa/Egede/Nanka streets in Diobu, Port Harcourt, Today when a group of youths set a heap of refuse on fire at the demolished Akokwa waterfront.
The smoke from the fire was massive that people rushed to the scene thinking it was a building on fire.
It took the intervention of elders in the area to calm the situation as fight almost broke out between some residents and the youths.
Recall that a fire incident in the area few months ago razed buildings and rendered a lot of families homeless.
