Detained president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero has been released by the the Department of State Services (DSS).
Sources say Ajaero was released at about 11:00 pm, on Monday.
Recall that the NLC had threatened to take action if Ajaero was not released before midnight, Monday.
Ajaero was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday, September 9, on his way out of the country for an official assignment.
