The Caretaker Committee (CTC) Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Anthony Soberekon, has implemented the promotion of Senior Staff of the Council, whose backlog promotions were recently approved by the Rivers State governor, Sim Fubara, through the State Civil Service Commission.
Christopher Braide – SA/Media Coordinator to the CTC Chairman disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
He said the Chairman has also cleared the three months outstanding salary arrears to the promoted senior staffers.
Hon. Soberekon assured that his administration would continue to work in synergy with the Council workforce for the overall development of the LGA.
He maintained that the remuneration and other benefits of Degema Council Staffers would be given as at when due, and called for more support for the administration of Governor Fubara.
