A resident of Degema local government area of Rivers State, identified as Seigha Edwin Adedeji has decried the absence of government presence in the area.
Adedeji, who made this known in a post on Facebook today, said the presence of government is not felt in the LGA.
According to him, Degema people does not deserve the type of treatment they are getting from the authorities.
He called on the relevant authorities to come to their aide, so that people of the area can feel the dividends of democracy.
“It was a sad situation for me this morning when I went to the community public toilet in Degema town. The good people of Degema don’t deserve the treatment they are getting from the authorities,” he said.
“Frankly speaking the presence of the government isn’t felt here I’m using this opportunity to call on the government to come to our aide so my people can feel the dividence of democracy,” he added.
