The Degema Council of Chiefs has reportedly called on Governor, Sim Fubara to call chairman of the council, Hon. Michael John Williams to order over what they described as his nonchalant behaviour towards them.
An indigene of the area and newly appointed Special Assistant to the governor, Ofity Harry disclosed this in a statement Today.
His statement reads,
BAKANA COMMUNITY COUNCIL OF CHIEFS. Today expresses their displeasure through Radio stations towards the Degema Local Council Chairman, Hon Michael John Williams. For His nonchalant behavior towards them as custodians of the Land, mostly issues concerning security and order social vices in the community whereby appealing with the Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Amaopusenibo SIMINIALAYI FUBARA GSSRS to call Him to Order.
