The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has said that the decision not to complete the monorail started by former Governor of the state, Chibuike Amaechi was the choice of Rivers people and not his.
Wike disclosed this yesterday, during the Commissioning of the Rumueche- Rumuakunde- Ohna- Awuse Road in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
He berated those saying his administration has done nothing in the state despite the execution of numerous projects.
He said that such persons will remain blind, since they claim not to see his achievements.
Meanwhile, Sen. Rochas Okorocha who was on ground to commission the road, called for the integration of like minds from PDP and the APC to accelerate the level of progress in the country.
