Aliko Dangote, Chairman of Dangote Group, on Thursday named the access road to the Dangote Refinery “Bola Ahmed Tinubu Road” in honour of President Bola Tinubu. The announcement was made during the president’s first official visit to the refinery in Lagos.

Dangote highlighted the company’s ongoing investment in national infrastructure through the tax credit scheme, stating that the group is spending N900 billion on road projects, despite having paid N450 billion in taxes in the previous year.

President Tinubu also commissioned the concrete road leading to the Lekki Deep Sea Port and launched Section 2 of the Lagos-Calabar superhighway, along with the 25-kilometre 7th axial road. The route connects key infrastructure including the port, the Lekki Free Trade Zone, and the refinery, extending to the Sagamu-Benin Expressway via Ijebu Ode.
