The Dangote Group has disowned claims linking its trucks to fatal accidents that occurred in Enugu State on September 3, 2025.
The company, in a statement, said the clarification followed confirmation by the Enugu State Police Command that the vehicles involved in the crashes belonged to Visco Investment Global and Global Investment, and not Dangote Group.
While sympathising with the families of the victims, Dangote Group urged the public to desist from spreading false information. It added that it would strengthen measures to check the unauthorized use of its logo on vehicles not affiliated with the company and pursue legal action against offenders.
