Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has again taken a swipe at the former NIMASA DG, Dakuku Peterside, that he was stripped naked as a student of the Rivers State University, for being a cultist.
Wike, said this during the inauguration of reconstructed Rumuigbo, Chief Johnson Amadi, and some other streets in Old GRA, Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
The governor, stated that he has never been a cultist, right from his University days to when he went to the Nigerian Law School.
He said it is impossible for a cultist like Dakuku to tell him what is good and bad.
“Who are those who laid the foundation of cultism in Nigeria? It is those who went to University. Dakuku Peterside was a cultist in Rivers state University,” he said.
“Dakuku Peterside was stripped naked in Rivers State University. I have never been a cultist from University of Port Harcourt to Rivers State University and to Law School. How can a cultist tell me what is good,” Wike added.
Wike was reacting to a statement credited to Dakuku Peterside that the state now has the highest number of unemployed persons since he became Governor.
