The University of Port Harcourt has denied claims that Cynthia Chukwundah, the woman accused of setting her boyfriend ablaze, is a student of the institution.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the university’s Public Relations Officer, Sammy Kpenu, said checks on the school’s records showed that Chukwundah is not enrolled in any department.
Chukwundah is currently receiving medical treatment in a hospital after sustaining severe burns during the fire incident that led to the death of her boyfriend.
