Counterfeit tablets and containers of illegally imported drugs worth over N46.399 billion have been seized by the Customs Service, Area 2 Command, Onne in Rivers State.
Mohammed Ndede – the Customs Area Controller, Area 2 Command, Onne, made this known at a media briefing in Onne on Monday, where he displayed the seized drugs and tablets to journalist.
He revealed that the Controller General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi, had two months ago visited the Port to showcase a series of significant seizures, including arms and ammunition confiscated by the Command.
