The Nigeria Customs Service, Port Harcourt Area II Command, says it has recorded an unprecedented revenue collection of N76 billion for the month of October 2025.
The milestone, described as the highest monthly revenue ever generated by the Command, was announced in a statement issued on Monday by its Public Relations Officer, Theophilus Duniya.
Duniya attributed the feat to the strong leadership and collaborative culture promoted by the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Aliyu Alkali, particularly through deliberate engagement with stakeholders in the maritime sector.
“The Command has achieved a landmark milestone with a record-breaking revenue collection of N76bn in October 2025,” the statement read. “This was achieved through ongoing dialogue with stakeholders and consistent engagement with unit heads, emphasising the importance of facilitating legitimate trade, compliance, and adding value to the Command’s operations.”
He noted that the improved synergy and commitment to enhanced trade processes have significantly boosted the Command’s revenue performance.
