The Nigeria Customs Service has seized banned codeine syrup and other illegal substances worth about 11 billion naira at the Onne Port in Rivers State.
The Customs boss at Onne, made this known in a statement shortly after the interception.
He stated that investigation has been launched into the incident, dding that the drugs will be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
