The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the killing of a young man by unknown gunmen at Ogbunu-abali in Port Harcourt.
Spokesperson of the state Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this in a statement today.
Omoni who appealed for calm, said the Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan had ordered a full investigation into the matter.
He assured residents of the state that the command would do everything within its powers to bring the perpetrators to book.
The deceased was shot dead after a shootout between two rival cult groups at Ogbunu-abali few days ago.
