The Federal Government of Nigeria has assured Nigerians that the COVID-19 vaccine, it has procured won’t endanger their health.
President Muhammadu Buhari disclosed this during a meeting with a delegation of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), on Thursday.
He urged NSCIA, to help in mobilizing Nigerians so as not to be scared and be part of the vaccination which will begin in no time.
The president noted that the pandemic is a global crises, stating that he cares about the health and safety of Nigerians.
Earlier, the Minister of health, Osagie Ehanire had announced that the country has procured extra 41 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
