The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that Taraba State is the only state in the country yet to record a single death from the COVID-19. This is despite recording 888 fatalities in the country from the dreaded virus.
An update of COVID-19 status in Nigeria released on the commission’s Twitter handle shows that Taraba is the only state with zero fatality from the virus in the country.
Since the outbreak of the virus, Taraba State has recorded 54 confirmed cases with 43 active, 11 persons have been discharged and no death.
The state has been commended by stakeholders for the way and manner it has managed the situation.
