Rivers state recorded 118 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,108 with 15,550 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Thursday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 423 new cases. Lagos recorded the second highest number with -120, Rivers-118, Anambra-38, FCT-32, Gombe-31, Kaduna-21, Oyo-14, Benue-11, Cross River-10, Kwara-9, Borno-5, Kano-5, Bauchi-3, Jigawa-3, Abia-1, Ogun-1 and Sokoto-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 250,009 with 221,203 discharged and 3092 deaths.
The NCDC has urged Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol.
