Rivers state recorded no new case of Covid-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 12,695 with 12,469 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 89 new cases. Bauchi recorded the highest number with -22, Edo-17, FCT-17, Lagos-15, Plateau-10, Kaduna-4, Taraba-2, Bayelsa-1 and Delta-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 211,887 with 203,080 discharged and 2,895 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
