Rivers state recorded 7 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,309 with 15,960 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 236 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -90, Gombe-66, FCT-29, Delta-12, Kaduna-11, Osun-10, Kano-8, Rivers-7, Ekiti-1, Nasarawa-1 and Oyo-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 251,930 with 225,906 discharged and 3124 deaths.
The NCDC, has warned Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol.
