Rivers state recorded 6 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,233 with 15,572 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 267 new cases. Delta recorded the highest number with -160, Osun-27, FCT-22, Gombe-17, Cross River-16, Enugu-13, Rivers-6, Ekiti-4, Kaduna-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 250,628 with 223,765 discharged and 3095deaths.
The NCDC, said 3 deaths were recorded yesterday and wrned Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol.
