Rivers state recorded 38 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 13,065 with 12,788 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 612 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -483, FCT-49, Rivers-38, Oyo-31, Delta-5, Ekiti-4, Bauchi-1 and Jigawa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 217,063 with 207,703 discharged and 2,981 deaths.
The NCDC, says all covid protocols must be observed to forestall a third wave of the virus.
