Rivers state recorded 3 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,389 with 16,091 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 75 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -33, Gombe-13, FCT-11, Osun-8, Edo-3, Rivers-3, Plateau-2, Kaduna-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 252,735 with 228,137 discharged and 3134 deaths.
The NCDC, has warned Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol and also take the vaccines which it said is safe and has no side effect.
