Rivers State recorded 3 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,585 with 12,336 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 159 new cases. Kaduna recorded the highest number with -47, Enugu-44, Benue-36, Delta-10, Lagos-7, Plateau-5, Rivers-3, Nasarawa-2, Bauchi-1, Bayelsa-1, Edo-1, Jigawa-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 210,295 with 198,191 discharged and 2,856 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
