Rivers State recorded the highest number of covid-19 cases with 149 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 10,333 with 8,923 discharged and 127 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total Nigeria recorded 460 new cases. Lagos recorded the second highest number of cases with -139, Edo-61, FCT-37, Bayelsa-20, Oyo-14, Plateau-7, Ogun-6, Anambra-4, Benue-4, Enugu-2, Cross River-1 and Kaduna-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 191,805 with 178,492 recovered patients, and 2,455 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Rivers State government has urged residents of the state yet to get vaccinated to do as it has no side effects.
