Rivers state recorded 188 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 13,637 with 12,836 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 828 new cases Lagos recorded the second highest number with -183, Delta-97, FCT-82, Oyo-67, Edo-54, Ekiti-34, Plateau-34, Kano-27, Anambra-22, Kaduna-19, Enugu-12, Ogun-5 and Kwara-4.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 222,483 with 211,522 discharged and 2,984 deaths.
The NCDC, says no coronavirus-related deaths were reported on Saturday. It advises residents to obey all covid-19 protocol.
