Rivers State yesterday, recorded the highest number of covid-19 cases with 63. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,030 with 11,509 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 296 new cases. Lagos recorded the second highest number of cases with -49, FCT-47, Osun-37, Edo-29, Plateau-18, Gombe-14, Nasarawa-12, Delta-10, Benue-5, Kano-5, Bayelsa-3, Oyo-2, Bauchi-1 and Ekiti-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 204,752 with 192,943 discharged and 2,689 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
