COVID-19: Rivers State Records Highest Cases

Rivers state recorded 15 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,461 with 16,212 discharged and 154 deaths.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Friday.

In total, Nigeria recorded 35 new cases. Katsina recorded the second highest number with -8, FCT-6, Gombe-4, Ekiti-1 and Kano-1.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 253,540 with 229,882 discharged and 3136 deaths.

The NCDC, has warned Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol.
