Rivers state recorded 52 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,844 with 12,615 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 82 new cases. Rivers State recorded the highest number of cases with -52, Kano-9, Kebbi-6, Kaduna-5, Plateau-5, Enugu-3, Bauchi-1 and Lagos-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 213,403 with 206,206 discharged and 2,973 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
