Rivers state recorded 90 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 14,860 with 13,774 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 536 new cases Lagos recorded the highest number with -259, Rivers-90, Oyo-46, Edo-43, Kaduna-29, FCT-25, Cross River-12, Nasarawa-10, Osun-6, Gombe-5, Kano-5, Ogun-5 and Jigawa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 242,877 with 214,778 discharged and 3033 deaths.
The NCDC, says two deaths were recorded yesterday.
