Rivers State recorded 82 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,513 with 12,129 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 376 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -215, Rivers-82, Ondo-16, Imo-14, Plateau-12, Kaduna-10, Kwara-9, Ekiti-4, Bauchi-3, Delta-3, Kano-3, Sokoto-3, Nasarawa-1 and Oyo-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 209,173 with 197,084 discharged and 2,804 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
