Rivers State recorded 8 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,532 with 12,151 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 89 new cases. Kaduna recorded the highest number with -34, Abia-22, Delta-11, Kano-8, Rivers-8, Bauchi-4, Jigawa-1, Zamfara-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 209,387 with 197,312 discharged and 2,838 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
