Rivers state recorded 3 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,678 with 12,415 discharged and 158 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Thursday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 182 new cases. Taraba recorded the highest with -38, Lagos-27, Zamfara-25, Benue-21, FCT-17, Gombe-13, Kaduna-12, Plateau-12, Jigawa-5, Kano-3, Rivers-3, Abia-2, Edo-2, Bauchi-1, Bayelsa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 211,678 with 202,885 discharged and 2,892 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
