Rivers State recorded 28 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,827 with 11,249 discharged and 153 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 377 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -70, FCT-67, Kaduna-38, Edo-36, Rivers-28, Delta-23, Kwara-22, Ondo-18, Plateau-17, Oyo-16, Benue-12, Ekiti-10, Gombe-8, Kano-7, Imo-3 and Jigawa-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 203,081 with 191,601 discharged and 2,666 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
