Rivers state recorded 217 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 13,447 with 12,820 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Friday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 1584 new cases Lagos recorded the highest number with -906, FCT-258, Rivers-217, Edo-85, Oyo-50, Ogun-16, Ondo-14, Bayelsa-12, Osun-10, Bauchi-9 and Kano-7.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 222,655 with 211,373 discharged and 2,984 deaths.
The NCDC, has urged Nigerians to get vaccinated as it is safe and has no side effect.
