Rivers State recorded 21 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,356 with 12,082 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 251 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number with -78, Lagos-46, Kaduna-27, Rivers-21, Imo-16, Edo-13, Delta-12, Plateau-10, Niger-7, Bauchi-6, Kwara-6, Akwa Ibom-4, Benue-3 and Nasarawa-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 208,404 with 196,123 discharged and 2,761 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
