Rivers state recorded 20 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,911 with 12,704 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 110 new cases. Imo recorded the highest number with -27, Katsina-23, Rivers-20, Ondo-11, Kaduna-9, FCT-6, Oyo-6, Plateau-3, Osun-2, Ekiti-1, Gombe-1 and Zamfara-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 214,092 with 207,254 discharged and 2,976 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
