Rivers State recorded 20 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,582 with 12,334 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Friday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 176 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number with -73, Plateau-25, Rivers-20, Kano-18, Lagos-15, Bauchi-9, Osun-8, Ekiti-3, Edo-2, Bayelsa-1, Niger-1 and Sokoto-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 210,136 with 198,117 discharged and 2,850 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
