Rivers State recorded 20 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,577 with 10,638 discharged and 149 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on it’s official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 299 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -94, FCT-30, Oyo-27, Bayelsa-23, Rivers-20, Edo-17, Taraba-17, Kwara-15, Benue-14, Delta-11, Osun-10, Ekiti-9, Gombe-4, Plateau-4, Kano-2 and Ogun-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 200,256 with 188,917 discharged and 2640 deaths.
Meanwhile, the FG has said that the country will receive more doses of the covid-19, vaccine in the second quarter of next year.
