Rivers state recorded 2 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,787 with 12,602 discharged
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 30 new cases. Abi recorded the highest number of cases with -9, Bauchi-7, Kaduna-4, Kano-4, Cross River-2, Rivers-2, Bayelsa-1 and Jigawa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 213,177 with 205,770 discharged and 2,968 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
