Rivers State recorded 16 new cases of Covid-19, yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,392 with 10,417 discharged and 138 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total Nigeria recorded 365 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with -209, Ondo-88, FCT-31, Rivers-16, Ebonyi-11, Kaduna-6, Ekiti-3 and Plateau-1
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 199,151 with 186,418 recovered patients, and 2,598 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Rivers State Government says residents yet to get vaccinated are endangering the lives of others.
