Rivers State recorded 15 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,547 with 12,220 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Tuesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 159 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number with -71, Lagos-20, Imo-17, Rivers-15, Cross River-9, Kano-7, Ondo-7, Plateau-4, Ekiti-3, Niger-3, Delta-2 and Bauchi-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 209,546 with 197,546 discharged and 2,838 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
