Rivers state recorded 119 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 14,183 with 12,990 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Friday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 1356 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -822, Rivers-119, Kwara-107, FCT-103, Edo-97, Kano-29, Imo-25, Delta-19, Plateau-14, Borno-10, Gombe-8 and Bauchi-3.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 234,709 with 212,237 discharged and 2,993 deaths.
The NCDC, says there is a fourth wave of the dreaded virus.
