Rivers State yesterday, recorded the highest number of covid-19 cases with 68. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,431 with 12,117 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Friday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 167 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number with -43, Lagos-24, Plateau-10, Niger-8, Edo-5, Kano-4, Benue-2, Oyo-2 and Delta-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 208,797 with 196,425 discharged and 2,769 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
