The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, says Rivers state recorded four new cases of COVID-19 while Lagos recorded 1 between February 25 to March 31.
The commission made this known in a statement few days ago.
“The five new cases are reported from two states – Rivers (4) and Lagos (1), four states with zero cases reported are Abia, Kaduna, Kano, and Nasarawa.”
“A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities,” the commission said.
It also said a total of 266,665 cases have been confirmed up to date, 259,951 patients discharged and 3,155 deaths recorded in 36 states and the federal capital territory.
