Rivers State recorded 6 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,553 with 12,220 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 167 new cases. Taraba recorded the highest number with -109, Lagos-17, Plateau-16, Bauchi-11, Rivers-6, Delta-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Imo-2 and Bayelsa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 209,713 with 197,724 discharged and 2,840 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
