Rivers state recorded 38 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 13,114 with 12,807 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Tuesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 730 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -Lagos-431, FCT-174, Rivers-38, Ogun-32, Akwa Ibom-25, Anambra-11, Katsina-7, Bayelsa-4, Niger-4, Kano-3 and Ekiti-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 218,596 with 211,254 discharged and 2,983 deaths.
The NCDC says measures are in place to prevent a third wave of the virus.
