Rivers State recorded 27 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,854 with 11,313 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Thursday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 433 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number with -191, Lagos-79, Anambra-63, Rivers-27, Plateau-13,Oyo-10, Delta-9, Ondo-8, Edo-7, Gombe-6, Akwa Ibom-5, Borno-5, Ekiti-4, Bayelsa-2, Zamfara-2, Enugu-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 203,514 with 191,942 discharged and 2,668 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
