Rivers State recorded 17 new cases of covid-19 yestersay. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,160 with 11,647 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Thursday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 281 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number of cases with -111, Lagos-34, Edo-33, Kwara-20, Plateau-20, Rivers-17, Abia-10, Imo-8, Delta-7, Nasarawa-7, Ekiti-6, Akwa Ibom-3 and Oyo-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 205,765 with 193,617 discharged and 2,720 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
